Bennie Lee Jones, age 91, of Mobile, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at a local hospital. He is survived by his two daughters, Gwendolyn Jones of Atlanta, GA and Eleanor Jones Tolbert of Mobile; a sister, Betty (JD) Williams of Hephzibah, GA, a granddaughter, Raenate (Christopher) Graham; two great-grandsons, Christopher and Collin Graham; and a sister-in-law, Mamie Lee Jones. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ruth Jones; a grandson, Aaron Michael Jones; two brothers, Clarence O’Neal Jones and Robert Jones; and four sisters, Minnie Lee Kimbrough, Azzie Lee Davison, Mabel Matthews, and Amanda Timmons. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church #2. The visitation will be Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Mt.
