Mrs. Berthia Mae Crooke, age 86, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 7, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ollie C. and Etta Mae Day, her husband and father of her children, Emory Crooke, son, Tommy Crooke, sister, Rachael Day and brothers, Jackson and Buddy Day. Mrs. Crooke worked for many years as an LPN in the Mobile area. She was a member of First Baptist of Tillman’s Corner. She was a talented quilter and crocheted many baby shoes for the community. Her family and friends will remember her as a loving caregiver. Mrs. Crooke is survived by her children, Linda Diane “Dee” Low (Buddy), Ricky Crooke (Onnie), Chris Crooke (Katherine) and sister-in-law, Laverne Day. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until service time of 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saraland, AL. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, Mobile, AL.
