Betty Ann Lott Holland, 73, of Saucier, MS – native of Mobile, AL – passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in Gulfport, MS, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on May 23, 1945 to Jaysie “J.T.” Lott and Lucylle Stone. She loved her animals and gardening, but above all else, she loved her family and spending time with them. Betty was a wonderful woman, and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Lynn Holland of Purvis, MS; parents; and sister, Jeri McRae of Mobile, AL.
She is survived by her previous husband and the father of her children, Billy L. Hallman of Talladega, AL; seven children: Helen Denise “Neesey” Hallman Bowles, William Dwayne (Jerri Lynn) Hallman, Kerri Darlene “Pete” (Joey) Vickers, Thomas Daren (Brandy) Hallman, Derek Alexander (Lisa) Hallman – all of Mobile, AL, Diana Kay (Dinky) Hallman, D’Iberville, MS, and Wendy DeAnn (Jamie) Holland, Saucier, MS; two step-children, James “JM” (Iris) Holland, Jennings, LA, and Lillian (Whitte) Blackwell, Pearl River, LA; twenty-four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her best friend of 65 years, Dorothy Conner, Sylva, NC; and many nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Betty will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, AL on Monday, December 10, 2018, with a chapel service at 3 p.m. Interment will immediately follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. Brother Don Bond of Mobile, AL will preside over the funeral service, with assistance from Reverend Billy Trusley of Pearl River, LA at the graveside.
