

Billy Logan – a native of Mobile, AL and resident of Daphne, AL was born on September 9, 1944. He departed this life on Saturday, January 7, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bishop Leroy and Dorothy Earl Logan of Cottage Hill, and his brother and sister, Annie Pearl and Claude Logan. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of nearly 42 years, Selena Matt Logan; six children: Rodney Logan (Tuscaloosa, AL), Kelsey Logan (Los Angeles, CA), Eric (Kisha) Logan (Mobile, AL), Venessia Banks (Spanish Fort, AL), Raven (Tony) Bayles (Birmingham, AL), and Shacobia Logan (Daphne, AL); nine grandchildren; three god-children; three sisters: Aurelia (Bishop Walter) Betts (Mobile, AL), Grace (Elbert) Wells (Grand Bay, AL), and Claudia (Melvin) Beckham (Eight Mile, AL); eight sisters-in-law: Elizabeth (James) Montgomery (Daphne, AL), Jettie Ree Withers (Mobile, AL), Ethel Dean Gibson, Clarine (Matthew) Kimbrough, and Mary Matt (all of Detroit, MI), Rosetta (Jordan) Anderson (Arlington, AL), Faye Logan (Montgomery, AL), and one devoted, Brenda (Warren) Johns (Daphne, AL); two brothers-in-law: Raymond (Faustine) Matt (Detroit, MI) and Roosevelt (Elmita) Matt (Antioch, TN); one devoted aunt, Frances Logan (Mobile, AL); and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, church family, and friends. Visitation will be held at The Holy Church of God, Cottage Hill, 2115 Demetropolis Road, Mobile, AL 36693 on Friday, January 13, 2012, from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. memorial service. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens, Theodore, AL.
