Bonnie G. Bullock, 85, a resident of Trussville, Alabama, passed away on May 31, 2021, at St. Vincent’s East Hospital. Bonnie was born December 12, 1935, to Phil McCraney and Ruby McCraney in Laurel, Mississippi. Bonnie attended Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana where she studied Music. She served as the pianist, organist and a preschool teacher at First Baptist Church of Gretna, Louisiana for over 30 years. Bonnie was an active member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church in Mobile, AL, and Germantown Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, where she sang in the choir, worked in the nursing home ministry and WOA. She was also active in Providence Hospitals Auxiliary. Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Bullock Andre (Albert “Buddy”) and Melissa Bullock Strickland (Fred), grandchildren, Dr. Emile Picarella, Jr. (Manuella), Heather P. Ruiz (Fernando), Timothy A. Picarella (Amanda), “Trey” Fred E. Strickland III (Katherine) and Rebekah A. Strickland; fourteen great grandchildren, and one sister. Bonnie was preceded in death by Richard A. Bullock her husband of 47 years, her parents Phil and Ruby McCraney of Laurel, Mississippi, and one sister. There will be a grave side service on Saturday June 5th, 11 a.m. at Pine Crest Cemetery West, 1599 Snow Road South, Mobile, AL 36695. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
