Lloyd Bratton Rainey, III, 58, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Mobile, Alabama. Bratton was born to Lloyd Bratton Rainey, Jr. and Nell Eubanks Rainey on April 8, 1963 in Mobile. He graduated from Arnold School in Mobile before attending Spring Hill College for undergraduate studies, and earning his J.D. from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, summa cum laude. Bratton was a well-known, well-respected attorney in Mobile for over 28 years. He was always on the go – always getting into something. Bratton loved to be on the river in his boat, and he loved riding his motorcycles. He was kind, generous, and would do anything for anyone he ever met.
Bratton was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Roger Rainey; and his beloved Grandma Rose.
He is survived by his close friend and the mother of his child, Bobbie Rainey; daughter, Julie (Craig) Galbreath; brother, Mark (Sherri) Rainey; two nieces; two nephews; and a slew of cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Bratton will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a chapel service immediately following.
