Carol Ann Wilkinson

Carol A. Wilkinson, 86, passed away Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Allen Memorial Home in Mobile. Born in 1934, Carol was the daughter of Edward A. and Angie L. Nurse, Sr of Mobile. A 1952 graduate of Murphy High School she married Billy T. Wilkinson February 21, 1952. She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Mobile, and especially enjoyed the services and visits the Episcopal church provided to the nursing home each week. Carol was a member of the Order of Eastern Star at Guy T Smith Lodge #883 over 50 years.

With her husband Billy, she enjoyed traveling, visiting her grandchildren, and the Mardi Gras parades and Shriner’s Organization.

She is preceded in death by her precious parents; her husband, Billy; an infant son; a brother, Edward Nurse, Jr.; sisters, Barbara Bench Waite and Dorothy Waters.

She is survived by daughters, Rebecca (Keith) Lott and Sarah (Robert) Lee of Mobile; grandchildren, Kevin (Deidre), Jarrett and Amanda Lott and Heather (Chuck) Beach and Trey Lee, Crystal (Brian) Welshan, Ronda (Scott) Clark, and Angela (Tim) Kozel; sixteen great-grandchildren, Jackson and Emily Lott, Thomas Raley, Huck and Rowdy Beach, Courtney, Tori, Brandon, Justin, Ava, Faith, Zachary, Hunter, Magan, Victoria, and Colton; three great-great grandchildren, Raiden, Marley, and Wilder; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as a sister-in-law Marjorie.

Graveside services will be held at Pine Crest Cemetery at 11am, Dauphin Island Parkway on January 11, 2021.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Covenant care Hospice for taking the care they did with their mother, especially Michelle.
