Carol Bell Gibson McCrory

Carol Bell Gibson McCrory – died June 8, 2012, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Mrs. McCrory was born February 29, 1936, in Pike County, AL and was a graduate of Greenville High School. A longtime resident of Mobile, she was primarily a homemaker, but worked for a time at International Paper and Courier Checks. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, William Davis McCrory; her parents, J.D. and Irene Gibson; and brother, Gerald Atwell. Mrs. McCrory is survived by her children, Brenda (Johnny Ray) Foster, Barbara (George) Watkins, and Keith (Vickie) McCrory; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, June 11, 2012, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 10, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
