Carol Ann Crabtree

Carol Ann Binet Crabtree, a native and lifelong resi-dent of Mobile, AL died Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Allen Memorial Home. Mrs. Crabtree was a 1950 graduate of Bishop Toolen High School. She was a charter member of St. Dominic Catholic Church where she was active with C.Y.O. athletics for many years. She was a member of a mystic society. Mrs. Crabtree was preced- ed in death by her husband, James T. "Buddy" Crabtree; her parents, Ervin Eugene and Mary Lorraine Binet; and her brother, Gene Binet. She is survived by three sons, Michael E. (Linda) Crabtree, J. Gregory (Monica) Crabtree, and Christopher J. Crabtree; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Crabtree and Sharon Crabtree (Richard) White; one sister, Peggy (Doug) Brunt; eleven grandchildren, Nicole Crabtree (Todd) Mishkin, Jameson Crabtree, Andrew (Whitney) Crabtree, Brad Crabtree, Kevin Crabtree, Brian (Amber) Crabtree, Jonathan Crabtree, Jeffrey Crabtree, Blake White, Matthew White, and John Michael White; two sisters-in-law, Doris L. Crabtree and Lynn Binet; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 A.M. on Monday, May 23, 2011 from St. Dominic Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memo-rials may be made to the Allen Memorial Home or the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
