Carol Hamrick Smith

She is survived by daughters Deborah (Bob) Glazier and Karen (Bert) Keene and son Robert (Cindy) Smith. She also leaves behind granddaughters Jerri (Greg) Galloway and Ricki (David) Huber, along with her great grandchildren Bradley Huber, Gregory Galloway and Eden Huber. She will be sadly missed by her aunt Stella Bailey and sister Avos Stickney and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Carol was a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, and leaves many of her sisters and brothers behind to remember her. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Jerry Smith, great granddaughter, Autumn Huber, her mother Edra Reynolds and sister Sibyl Reynolds. Carol graduated from Murphy High School in 1952, cared for her family and dedicated a number of years to Ryan Walsh Stevedoring before retiring. She is sadly missed, but lovingly remembered.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6-8 PM on Thursday June 20, 2013. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com.
