Carole Seymour Little

Carole Seymour Little, 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Mobile, Alabama. Known to everyone as “Granny”, to meet her was to love her. She was born to Bernard James Seymour and Ophelia Obert Seymour on December 20, 1942 in Mobile, Alabama. Carole attended Bishop-Toolen School for Girls, and retired from Marriott Corp. She was famous for her delicious cakes. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mary Francis Doolittle.

She is survived by her three children: Kristen Little (Les), Julie K. Little, and Jeffrey B. Little (Tara); four grandchildren, Taylor Little (Sidell), Lance Little of Nashville, TN; Jordan Little, and Makaylee Little; one great-grandchild, Kaiya Corley; two sisters, Dottie S. Quackenbush and Condy S. James of Colonial Beach, VA; one brother, Bernard J. Seymour (Phyllis); a brother-in-law, Robert Doolittle of Destin, FL; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.

Visitation for Carole will be held from 12 – 1 on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway, with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 1. Inurnment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
