Caroline Wyatt Bowles

Caroline Bowles, age 93, passed away at her home on February 3, 2014. She was a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma and had lived in Mobile, AL since her teens. She is survived by three sons; Donald Bowles of Mobile AL, Richard Bowles of Overland Park, Kansas, Leon Bowles of Atlanta, GA and daughter Sharon Anderson of Mobile AL; three daughters-in-law, Kathy Bowles, Atlanta, GA, Lela Bowles, Mobile, AL, Darlene Bowles, Overland Park; and son-in-law, Jimmy Anderson of Mobile, AL. Caroline had eight grandchildren; Demese Marney, Ken Bowles, Dustin Bowles, Brittany Bowles, Michelle Peterson, Austin Bowles, Bailey Bowles and Terry Wyatt. Caroline had six great-grandchildren; Andon and Caroline Peterson, Collin and Erin Marney, Avery and Abby Bowles. Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Leon Bowles and two sons, David and James. Caroline is also survived by a special friend, Shirley Haggard of Mobile, AL. Caroline attended the Prichard Church of God, Chickasaw Church of God and Pathway Ministries during her lifetime. Caroline’s life was centered around three things; She was a very religious person and used the power of prayer to help her thoughout life’s challenges. She was a dedicated wife to Clyde Bowles, her husband of 50 years. She loved family and believed that family, along with God, was the most important things in her life. She was sensitive to everyone’s feelings and took great care to not offend anyone and was quick to apologize for the slightest perceived offense on her part. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
