Carolyn "Lee" Williams Hutton

Carolyn “Lee” Pennington Williamson Hutton – 70, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on March 7, 2011, at Providence Hospital surrounded by her children. Lee graduated from Bishop Toolen High School and attended Spring Hill College. She later went on to work for 25 years with the Mobile County Sheriff's Office before retiring as their Communications Supervisor in 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Rosie Pennington, and her sisters, Jane Dennis and Bibi Ollis. She is survived by her daughters, Dana Austin and Michelle McCaffery, both of Mobile; her son, Jason (Catherine) Williamson, of Collierville, TN; and six grandchildren, Evan and Camille Austin, Sarah and Julia McCaffery, and Riley and Katie Williamson. She is also survived by her sister, Pug (Ralph) Daugherty, of Memphis, TN, as well as nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or the Mobile ASPCA (www.mobileaspca.org).
