Mrs. DuCote was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Eric DuCote and her parents, Fintan and Nathalie Mitchell.
She was a graduate of Springhill College and worked at Mobile Infirmary as a medical technologist. She also had the distinction of serving as an Azalea Trail Maid. She was very involved as a parent with dance, band and scouting for many years
Surviving are her children, Lawrence Eric “Rick” (Cathy Davis) DuCote, Jr., Fintan Mitchell “Mitch” (Mollie) DuCote and Cathy DuCote (John) Cieutat; grandchildren, Josh, Alyssa, Jack, Wyatt and Delia; and numerous other relatives.
A memorial mass will be held at St Mary’s Catholic church Tuesday June 18th. Visitation 10a.m. Mass at 11.
