Catherine Elizabeth Martin Snow

Catherine Elizabeth Martin Snow was called to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. She was 93 years of age. Catherine was the lone survivor of 11 children, born and reared in New Hebron, MS. After graduating from high school, she moved to Mobile where she met and married her late husband of 55 years, Jesse D. Snow. Catherine is survived by her children, Benny C. Snow (Lynda), Johnny Marino, Valli Wintzell (Brad), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Catherine was a devout member of Riverside Baptist Church where she served over 60 years. She taught children most of that time, but in latter years enjoyed being in a Sunday school class with her peers. She dearly loved the Lord and His church. Catherine was loving and generous with family and friends-never met a stranger. She always had the welcome mat out and food on the table. You could stop by most any afternoon and find a freshly baked egg custard pie. She was loved and will be greatly missed. The family extends its deepest gratitude to her group of caregivers for their love, friendship, and service during her final years. We are also thankful for the staff at Mercy Medical Hospice. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Riverside Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
