Cathy Chiu Chin Crowley passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the age of 82. Born in Taiwan, she met her late husband, John “Jack” Crowley Jr., moved to Mobile, AL. Jack had a lifelong career in the Coast Guard, which landed them in Hawaii and Mobile, Al. Ultimately, they settled in Mobile, where they had a son, John Crowley III. Cathy loved being a mother and wife. She attended all of the Coast Guard Events and outings with her husband and enjoyed the camaraderie.
A special thanks towards Southern Care Hospice and Kindred Care. They were a tremendous help towards Cathy’s care. Also, a huge thank you to Mary Dunning, who took time out of her day to check on Cathy, spend time with her and make sure she was taken care and always taking her little buddy to the casino!
Cathy is survived by her son, John, and a daughter-in-law, Brandi Crowley and 2 grandchildren Madison A Crowley and John F Crowley IV. She was the beloved sister of Carol Corrao and nieces Amay and Paula Corrao.
Cathy will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family.
