Charles Morgan Smith, Sr., age 89, of Panama City, FL, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017. He is survived by his son, Charles M. (Esther) Smith, Jr.; two grandchildren, Amanda (Dane) Taylor and Morgan (Daniel) Pitts; four step-grandchildren, Alberto Morales, Carlos Morales, Gustavo Morales, and Vanessa Morales; four great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and two special friends and caregivers, Gene and Frances. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Hoke Smith and Annie Morgan Smith; his wife, Blanche M. Smith; and his brother, Lamar Smith. Visitation will be Monday, November 6, 2017, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile. Graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
