Charles Douglas Tuggle, age 68, of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Sunday February 17, 2019. He was born October 22, 1950 to Carl John ,Jr. and Dorothy Boyd Tuggle in Foley, Alabama. Charles had a no nonsense approach to life, being hard working with a strong work ethic lead him to a career with Alabama Power for over 30 years. He had a great love for his family; his wife, daughters, grandchildren, mother and grandmother, along with his cat Ivan and "Charlie's Choice" his boat. A member of a Mobile Mystic Society, he found relaxation in deep sea fishing and loved being around Dauphin Island. His hobbies also included deer hunting, and watching Nascar. He taught anyone the art of fishing. He loved to share his knowledge when it came to the mechanics of fixing a boat or car.
Survivors include his wife Tammy McCloud Tuggle, daughters: Lesley Tuggle (Dean) Skipper, Meredith Tuggle (Marques) Ivy and Amber (Joey) Nelson, brothers: Kenneth W. (Flora) Tuggle, Edward E. (Carolyn) Tuggle and Carl John (Debbie) Tuggle III, grandchildren Reese, Grady, Myles, Maxwell, Jenna, Emily and Lauren.
A celebration of life gathering for Charles will be held Monday, February 25, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St, Mobile, Alabama 36606. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donation to the American Diabetes Association, http://www.diabetes.org/donate/
