Charles Charlie Albert Weatherly

Charles Albert “Charlie” Weatherly - June 15, 1953 - December 22, 2010 Resident of Mobile, AL. 2 Tim 4: 7-8 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day” After a courageous 1 year battle with cancer, Charlie passed away peacefully at his home. Charlie was born in Prichard Alabama and graduated from Vigor High School. He was a Boilermaker out of Local 112. Charlie was one of three children born to the late Bennie and Willie Gray Weatherly and was the beloved husband of Pam Weatherly for 35 years. Charlie will forever be remembered by his beloved children Chucky and Charlene Byron, admired son-in-law Mark Byron, treasured grandchildren Lauren, Markus, and Ashton, devoted brother Bennie and loving sisters Sarah Floyes and Audrey Cartee, caring mother-in-law Angela Burkett, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Charlie loved hunting, Alabama football, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Reality Church. Charlie touched the lives of many people with his encouragement, unselfishness, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Friends and family are invited to attend a Visitation will be Monday, December 27, 2010 from 5 pm-8 pm at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street and Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 10 A.M. at Reality Church, 3084 Cottage Hill Road. Interment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
