Charles Franklin Worrell Jr.

Mr. Worrell was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Marine Corps, earning a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal with one device, Vietnam Service Medal with three stars, a Combat Action Ribbon, and Good Conduct Medal, and a Meritorious Mast. He retired from Kimberly-Clark after many years of service. Mr. Worrell enjoyed golf, skeet shooting, and bass fishing.

Mr. Worrell was preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. Worrell, Sr. and Ruth Ward Worrell.

He is survived by one son, Franklin Worrell; brother, Joseph Donald Worrell (Amberly); sister, Deborah Worrell Stewart (Cecil); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the graveside in Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at Pine Crest Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the service hour. Condolences may be offered at www.pinecrestfuneralhome.com.
