Mrs. Charline “Jill” Hoven English, a native of Salitpa, AL, and former resident of Mobile, AL for 40 years, died at her home in Laurel, MS on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Harold Cortez English and daughter Sara Nell Chandler. Mrs. English is survived by her son, Harold O’Neil English (Linda), daughters, Cassie Daughdrill (Clark) and Lillian Brannon (Robert). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Corky Chandler, Timmy Chandler, Cody Chandler, Jennifer English Chavers, Jesse English, Stan Winter, Jr., Lacey Daughdrill Smith, Gray Whigham, IV and Sidney Madison Brannon, nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
