Clara E. Phillips. 96 years old, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, June 07, 2016. She was a long times resident of Mobile and a long time and dedicated member of Fulton Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Phillips, Sr.
Her survivors include her children: Robert G. Phillips, Jr, Charolette, NC., Kathryn P. Skipper (Roger) Mobile, AL., William E. (Bill) Phillips, Mobile, AL., Virginia (Ginny) Taylor, Summerfield, FL., and David Phillips (Trena), Virginia Beach VA.; sisters Sylvia Baker and Glendon Freeman; grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives.
We wish to thank Springhill Hospice for the loving care during her long illness.
Family will receive visitors from 10:00 am until the 11:00am funeral service from the chapel at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Pkwy on Friday, June 10, 2016.
Interment will be at Pine Crest Cemetery.
