It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Clarence Charles Fulton, Jr., who left us on July 29, 2024 at the age of 84. He was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments. He was a man with a quiet disposition and said few words but was very intentional to express his love and appreciation during his last couple of weeks with us.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Hood Fulton; sons, John Charles Fulton (Marie) and Dale Lane Fulton (Shannon); grandchildren, Hayden Akin (Will), Anna-Marie Fulton, Parker Fulton, and Juli-Anna Fulton; sister, Billie Jean Stroh (George, passed 2009); and brother, Donald Fulton (Eva).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Charles Fulton, Sr. and Ola Hughen (Carl).
Clarence (known by many as Charlie or Bubba) was a devoted husband, father of two children, and grandfather to four grandchildren, as well as uncle to many nieces and nephews. He had many hobbies and passions over his 84 years with gardening, dabbling in woodworking, and working on autos being his favorites. He served our country in the Navy and retired from the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local 119.
He was a member of Union Local 119 for 59 years.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 2 p.m. in Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located in Spanish Fort, Alabama.
