Claude Penrose Roberts, Jr. - A native and lifelong resident of Mobile, born June 23, 1945, died March 3, 2014. Mr. Roberts was a member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church and a mystic organization. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his father Claude Penrose Roberts, Sr., and his mother, Josie Crum Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Mary Prendergast Roberts, two sons, Seth Roberts, and Patrick Roberts (Sara), and one granddaughter, Margaret Montgomery Roberts. Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catherine’s on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with Mass following immediately thereafter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Catherine’s, 2605 Spring Hill Avenue, Mobile, AL 36607.
