Mr. Clyde O. Collins, age 84, a longtime resident of Grand Bay, Alabama and a current resident of Dauphin Island, Alabama died on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was the founder of Jersey Queen Farms until 1981 and was also the founder of Eddie’s Pawn Shop. He was preceded in death by two children; Joseph Collins and Greg Collins; two grandchildren, Leslie Collins and Britan Gillespie. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann Collins; children, Randy (Lillie) Collins, Mike Collins, Sandra (Edd) Gillespie, Candy (Joe) Povilonis, Chris (Kay) Collins; fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and his canine companion “Oppie”. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 3:30 PM from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
