Connie Lynn Bosarge Newman – loving wife, mother, and sister, a 71 year-old native of Bayou La Batre and longtime resident of Irvington passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015. A graduate of Mobile Infirmary School of Nursing, she was a dedicated nurse. Mrs. Newman was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Doris Bosarge, and brother, Michael Bosarge. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Calvin Newman; children, Bryan Newman and Ashley Basile (Neil); grandchildren, Tyler Newman, Brianna Newman, and Gabriel Basile; sisters, Pamela Herren (Jerry) and Debbie Littre; many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Monday, June 15, 2015, at 6 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the service hour.
