
Craig Kennedy McKinnon passed away after an illness on May 5, 2013, in Shreveport, LA. He was born August 16, 1928 to Janie Wallace McKinnon and Neill Kennedy McKinnon in Chattahoochee, FL. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Wallace. He grew up in Panama City, FL and graduated from Panama City High. He graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville as an electrical engineer. He married Betty Bromwell of Natchez, MS on February 2, 1952 in the 1st Presbyterian Church of Natchez. They were married 62 years. He held the offices of deacon and elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Natchez and Spring Hill Presbyterian Church in Mobile. He had varied responsibilities at International Paper for 36 years and after retirement he did consulting for Beloitte Corp. He is survived by his wife, daughters Elizabeth Slusher and Karen Schmitt, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be given to Spring Hill Presbyterian Church or to the charity of your choice. A memorial service with reception following will be held at Spring Hill Presbyterian Church, Monday, May 13, at 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com.
