David Lee Howard, 68, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama. He was born to Arlin Roberson Howard and Mary Jane Keeler Howard on October 28, 1956, in Bourbonnais, Illinois. David had a kind and generous soul. He was always supportive of his friends and family. David started his vocational journey as a hairdresser until he developed a severe allergy to chemicals. His main forte was taking old, abused homes and transforming them into the beautiful, useful homes they once were. David had a deep talent for design in that regard. David and his partner, Bob Brasch, met in 1987 and have been together ever since. They loved to travel the country as much as possible.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his partner of 38 years, Robert A. Brasch; three sisters, Christine McGill, Michelle Burdette Howard, and Carolyn S. Howard; one brother, Dale Howard; as well as nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
