

A loving husband, father, grandfather, and Jack of all Trades, he will be greatly missed by his family. He served in the U.S. Army for four years. Following his service, he began his career with Armour Meat Company, later retiring from the Mobile County Public School System. David was a long time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna Mae Nemeth and Charlie James Watson; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Eleanor and Fred Robeson.
Survivors include his very devoted and caring wife of 44 years, Betsy Robeson Watson; two daughters, Kim Watson (Wade) Cochran and Angela Watson (Ken) Hoffstetter; one son, Matthew David (Heather) Watson; one devoted sister, Carolyn Seaman; two sisters-in-law, Martha Meier and Mary Alice (Glenn) Phillips; one brother-in-law, Dr. James (Jeanie) Robeson; three granddaughters, Brittany Renee Brannon, Mallorie Alexis Watson and Molly Elizabeth Hoffstetter; two grandsons, David Francis Kling and Jonathan Paul Hoffstetter; special friends, Diane and Dave Harvey; his beloved feline companion; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street.
