Delores was born in Tennessee. She loved visiting the beach in her younger years and absolutely adored her dogs. Delores was an extremely devoted and loving wife to her husband, Lamar. Joining him again will be blessed peace to end the many years of suffering due to her illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Chapman; one daughter, Tammy Danette Bazzel; and one son, Johnny Galen Bazzel.
Delores is survived by her son, Anthony Bazzel (Vervina); stepchildren, Randy Chapman, Rhonda Freeman, and Jamie Chapman; six grandchildren, Johnny Bazzel, Jr., Bobby Bazzel, Blake Bazzel, Donald Bazzel, Benjamin Bazzel, and Lauren Bazzel; seven great-grandchildren, Brianna Bazzel, Bridgette Bazzel, Johnny Bazzel, III, Alina Bazzel, Evie Bazzel, Karlie Bazzel, and Blake Bazzel, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Lynn Bazzel; as well as other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Delores will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2026, at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
