Doris Wade Habeeb

It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Wade Habeeb announces her passing on February 3, 2018 at the age of 84. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Elizabeth Habeeb Petro (Gene) and Dr. Katherine Habeeb of Madison, Wisconsin (Roy Patton). She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted grandmother to Alex Petro (Jessica), Mary Elizabeth Petro, Vincent Petro, Liam Patton and Sophia Patton. She will also be greatly missed by her sisters, Norma Frese (Karl) of Santa Clara, California, Patricia Starke of Atlanta, Georgia and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alex Joseph Habeeb, her parents, Ira and Thelma Wade, a devoted aunt, Doris P. Norris (Nick), and siblings Ira and Donald Wade, Ethel Allmond and Florine McCrary.

The family wishes to thank the staff and management of Murray House where she happily resided for the past nine years. Their compassionate care and support will always be remembered.

A Memorial Mass was held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, officiated by her cousin, Rev. James Zoghby. The interment of ashes will be held at a future date.
