Dorothy George

Dorothy J Smith George, age 93, a native of Mobile, Alabama passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020. Dorothy was born December 1, 1926. She was a member of St. Pius X, Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress.

She is preceded in death by her parents Wylie C Smith Sr. and Margarite Walker Smith, husband Thomas C George, Sr. Brothers; Wylie Smith, Jr., Richard D Smith and William Holly Smith. Sisters; M Frances Odom and Shirley J. Brantley. Two sons; Thomas George, Jr.,Anthony George, best friend of 78 years Rosemary S. Chambless and a nephew Alan O'Neil Smith. Survivors include a son Timothy A George. Her loving nieces "The Odom Girls". Loving grandchildren Bryant J George of Japan and Katie I George of Atlanta, Ga. Daughter-in-law Julie George. Special niece Karen Bryant, nephew Harry Smith, nieces Jennifer Delucia and Melanie Sawyer and her many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service for Dorothy will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL 36605.
