Dorothy "DotDot" Toland - loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother , a 70 year-old native of Mobile, Alabama and resident of Semmes for many years passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. She chose to raise her family rather than working for most of her adult life and cared for her family in an amazing way. Dorothy was a huge Crimson Tide football fan, member of two Mardi Gras societies (one of which she had the pleasure of serving as Emblem) for over 30 years, loved camping and fishing and being with friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Marie Coffman. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Steve Toland, children Kimberly Lee (Mike), Christopher Shires (Brandy), grandchildren, Hunter Shires (Sierra), Macie Shires, and great-grandchild, Bentley Shires.
