She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn; five grandchildren, Bobby, Douglas, Melissa, Chrissy, and Brad; four brothers, J.C., Henry, Grady, and Buford; and four sisters, Yvonne, Dorel, Janie, and Evelyn.
Survivors include nine children, Billy, Doug, Linda, Jack, Robert, Gail, John, Dale, and Ray; two sisters, Lorie and Mary; 41 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from Midway Baptist Church in Lucedale, MS on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery in Pascagoula.
Pallbearers are her grandsons, John Garlock, Stewart Owens, James Owens, Justin Owens, Spurlan Owens, Michael Watson, Austin Gill, James Petrosie, Josh Miller, Jack Owens, Jr., and Albert Owens, Jr.
