Edith Haas Cieutat, mother of Cynthia Denise Cieutat, died unexpectantly at home on August 19, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Cieutat; her parents. Anna and William Haas; her older sister Nancy Neal; younger brother, William Haas; and son in law Loyd Andrew Flowers.
Edith, affectionately known as Edie or Lulu, was a lifelong native of Mobile, AL. She graduated from Murphy High School, attended Auburn University and graduated with a BSN, RN from Mobile College. She worked in several departments of local hospitals with her favorite being labor and delivery. She was a kind hearted soul that loved her cats. Edie was a determined person that persevered in the face of obstacles. She will be loved and missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Pine Crest Cemetery.
