Edward "Ed" Cortopassi, age 56, passed away on October 20, 2023 in his hometown of Mobile, Al. Ed was born in Mobile, Al on November 10, 1966. He was always the life of the party, he loved to cook and entertain, and one of his life's greatest pleasures was becoming "Pops". He loved a good porch, and days at the beach. He attended Little Flower Catholic School, and was a graduate of McGill Toolen Catholic High School.
He is survived in death by his love, Margie Lily; his daughters, Mary Lambert (Zak), and Mallory Dundar (Akin), and a son, Chris Cortopassi (Courtney); his siblings, John "Jerry" Cortopassi (Donna), Zita Mixon (Clayton), Joseph "Joe" Cortopassi (Karen), and Catherine Watkins; his three grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Caesar and Catherine Mary Cortopassi and his brother Michael Cortopassi.
A memorial mass will be held on November 4th, 2023 at 11:00 am. It will take place at Little Flower Catholic Church 2053 Government St. Mobile, Al 36606.
