

Edward Taylor Gulledge, Jr., died on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Ed was the father of three beloved children, Catherine, Bill and Mark; and he was the grandfather of four beloved grandchildren, Ansley, Ashton, Blake and Connor. He was very proud of all his children and their accomplishments. Ed and his beloved wife Margaret enjoyed many good times together during their 32 years of marriage. They enjoyed motorcycle rides to Dauphin Island, going to the beach, playing ping pong and tennis, as well as enjoying many good games of scrabble. Ed worked very hard at his profession as a State Parole Officer, helping his clients to mainstream back into society. In a television interview, one of his clients praised him for helping her get back on her feet after leaving prison. Ed was a faithful son who diligently cared for his ailing parents in their final years of life. Ed cared very much about his extended family and attended numerous family reunions. Ed believed in God's kingdom and the paradise to come under that kingdom rule by Christ Jesus.
Memorial services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 2PM.Visitation will start at 1 PM.
