
She was a resident of Mobile for over 40 years and a graduate of Bishop Toolen High School. She was a very devout Christian and a member of Covenant Church of Mobile. One of the most important things in her life was her family and she will be greatly missed and forever loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Theresa Rauch; her parents, Mary Ann Rauch Black and James W. Black, Sr. and her brother, James W. Black, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Cahoon; four daughters, Alesha Gulledge, Ashlee Cahoon, Angela Hessert (Travis) and Allison Cahoon; seven siblings, Maryann Gearhart (Chris); Kathleen Daigle (James), Martha Bouler (Ronnie), Therese Pollman, William Black, Clara Carley, Thomas Black (Norma); sister-in-law, Deborah Black; six grandchildren, Tyler Kilgore, Vincent Goodson, Kenzie Gulledge, Nathan and Christian Gulledge and Elissa Kollin; beloved friend, Ann Parker and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010 from 10:00am until the 12pm noon funeral services from Covenant Church of Mobile, 7150 Hitt Rd., with Pastor Oliver Heath Officiating. Interment will follow in the Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Three Notch Road, Mobile.
