Mrs. Elizabeth (Liz) Schreiner Buhring, a lifelong Resident of Mobile, passed this life on Thursday, March 12, 2020. In God's plan for her life, she entered The Providence Hospital School of Nursing, receiving her R.N. Degree in 1950, and was employed at the Hospital in Obstetrics, and later had the opportunity to be employed, and work with Prominent Physicians in Mobile. She was a Nurse with The American Red Cross Nursing Services, traveling throughout the South East. She was an active Volunteer, and was recognized for her outstanding support for the American Mobile County Red Cross Chapter, and the Little Sisters of the Poor.
A longtime Member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, She was a Cantor at Mass, served as Eucharistic Minister, and served in the Parish with Food for the Bereaved, and was a Member of the Priests Burst Club.
She was preceded in death by her loving and faithful husband of 60 yrs. Thomas J. Buhring, Sr. a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in.-law.
She leaves behind her enduring love to her faithful and dedicated Son, Thomas J. (Tommy) Buhring, Jr. A Loyal and gracious Daughter-in-law, Cindy Kramer Buhring. Her Grandchildren Lesley Christine Delchamps (David) , Leigh Elizabeth Hadley(Buo) Thomas J.(Beau) Buhring III, Wife Keri., Lori Michelle Buhring. Her GreatGrandchildren, Brooklyn Elizabeth Hadley, Logan Reid Hadley, Isabelle R. Hadley, Cora Marie Buhring. Faithful and caring Neices and Nephews, Peggy Ann Safin (Richard), Karen Maureen Safin, Melissa Diane Safin, Wm. L. (Bill) Wildberger (Lynn), Wm. L. (Billy) Wildberger, Jr. Gainesville, Fla. Francis Patrick Fath(MaryAlice) Son, Brian Fath, Robert E. Shaffer (Bob), Larry C. Shaffer, Melbourne, Fla. Howard J. Fath (Justine), Roland J. Schreiner, Jr. (Barbara), and a host of Nieces and Nephews, and other relatives.
The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Donald Kirby, physicians and Nurses for their kindness, care and concern. To our Priests, Deacons, Altar Servers, Organist, Soloist, Funeral Director, for their genuine care, which meant so much to the family.

A visitation for Elizabeth will be held Monday, March 16, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 4156 Burma Rd, Mobile, Alabama 36693. A mass of christian burial will occur Monday at 12:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, Alabama 36605.
