Elizabeth Lee Montgomery Knowles of Mobile, died March 23, 2017. She was born 25 July 1964 in Mobile. Elizabeth was the loving wife of Wade Carlos Knowles and the daughter of the late James Leon Montgomery and the late Billie Grayson Mueller. She is survived by two children, Daniel Montgomery Knowles and Caroline Elizabeth Knowles, both at home.
Elizabeth leaves two sisters, Lynda Smolarek (John) of Gulfport, MS and Laura Wallace (David) of San Antonio, TX and several dear nieces and nephews and many cousins. She will be remembered by her in-laws, Carole Childress Knowles and the late Daniel H. Knowles Jr.
Elizabeth worked for many years at the Mobile Press-Register before retiring. In the last several years she enjoyed being a wife, mother and homemaker. Hers was a life gone too soon.
