Mrs. Ellen Irene Ripple, age 82, resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Bob and T. Eddie McPherson Smithey, daughter, Rena Casanova and eleven siblings.
Mrs. Ripple is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Thomas Ripple and four children; Sandra (Douglas) Walters, Jerry (Lisa) Ripple, Steven Ripple and Tommy (Angela) Ripple. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She retired after many years in retail sales with Dillards, formerly Hammels and D.H. Holmes.
Her family will remember her as a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.
Visitation for Mrs. Ripple will be held at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service time of 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow the service in the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, AL.
