Mrs. Emilu Yarbrough Gray a native of Berry Alabama and resident of Mobile died on Thursday, September 24th at a local hospital. Mrs. Gray was a teacher at Murphy High School for 30 years, a member at Springhill Baptist Church, a master gardener and a painter. She was preceded in death by her parents Senator George W. and Thelma S. Yarbrough of Wedowee, Alabama and her husband Rex M. Gray, Sr. She is survived by her four children; Rex M. Gray, Jr. (Monique), Stacy Gray Lawrence (Tim), George M. Gray (Angie), Jonathan P. Gray, Sr. (Adrienne), fiv¬e grandchildren Mary Elizabeth Gray and Andrew Preston Lawrence, Sydney Eleanor Gray, Stella Emilu Gray and Jonathan Powell Gray, Jr. and one great granddaughter Heaven Lee Gray all of whom love her very, very much. Graveside funeral services will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Tuesday September 29th at 10am with visitation on Monday from 5-8pm.
