Emmaline Bielarski Walker, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in Loxley, Alabama. She was born to Alex and Pauline Bielarski on December 23, 1935 in Mobile, Alabama. She married the love of her life, Harvey Murrel Walker on March 15, 1954. Emmaline was a soft-natured woman, who had no temper to speak of. She was kind and generous, and was the caregiver of her family. Emmaline loved to work in the yard, sew, and cook. According to her family, her specialty was Sunday Dinner. She made an amazing pot roast, and even had a knack for gumbo. Emmaline was also a skilled baker – pound cakes, cheesecakes – if you can name it, she could make it. She enjoyed travelling and going on vacation with her family every year. Emmaline also loved the beach. She like riding wave-runners and being in the water. Above all else, she loved her family. If she had it to give, she did: time, love, patience. Emmaline was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and will be greatly missed.
Emmaline was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ronnie Walker; four brothers, Clifton Bielarski, Russell Bielarski, Donnie Bielarski, and Edward Bielarski; and two sisters, Barbara Grimes and Delores Moore.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 70 years, Harvey M. Walker; daughter, Lisa Ann Walker; grandchildren, Jake Walker, Lori Walker, Jessika Carosiello, and Austin Carosiello; great-grandchildren, Jase Carosiello, Myles Carosiello, Nicholas Carosiello, and Ella Carosiello; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
Visitation for Emmaline will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a chapel service immediately following. Entombment will be held in the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum in Pine Crest Cemetery.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Community Hospice of South Alabama, 1450 N McKenzie St., Foley, Alabama 36535.
