Eva Lou Sharp Willey

Eva Lou Willey - at age 95, our remarkable, loving and beautiful mother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Born in Mandeville, LA on August 28, 1915, she died on November 6, 2010, in Semmes, AL. A homemaker and mother of five, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Sam D. Willey Sr., son-in-law, Gene Stafford, 1 brother, and 2 sisters. She is survived by her children, Joyce Stafford, Tampa, FL, Jerry (Jimmy) Martin, DeRidder, LA, Larry (Kathy) Willey, Iron Mountain, MI, Sharon (Terry) Brown, Turnerville, AL and Sam (Mary Anna) Willey Jr., Semmes, AL; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandson; sister, Josephine Lala; brother, Buddy Sharp of Mandeville, LA; and lifelong friends, Edna and Earl Dixon of Semmes, AL. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home in Saraland, AL. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest West Cemetery on Snow Road.
