Evangeline Theresa Hutchins

Evangeline "Angie" Theresa Hutchins - A native of Van Wert, OH, former resident of Laurel Hill, FL and currently residing in Mobile for eleven years, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 30, 2010. Mrs. Hutchins was a member of Fountain of Life Church. She loved the Lord with all her heart and dedicated her life to serving Him. With her husband, she ministered at nursing homes in Mobile and Citronelle. Her ministry was full of music praising Jesus. After her husband died, she produced an album of hymns dedicated to Calvin's memory. Mrs. Hutchins retired after 18 years of service as a Registered Nurse from St. Margaret's Hospital. A gifted artist, Angie served as President of the Women's Pilot Club and SAPA (State Association of Porcelain Artists) in Northwest Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin T. Hutchins; her sister, Margaret Nieto; two brothers, Bob Barrientos and Arthur Barrientos; her grandson, Terence Pollman; and her parents, Serbando Barrientos and Juana Moreno Barrientos. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy (Don) Timms of Mobile; her son, Mark (Kaye) Evans of Dothan; four brothers, Max Barrientos, John Barrientos, Serbando Barrientos, Jr., and Richard Barrientos; one sister, Josephine Rayer; four step-daughters, Pamela (Ted) Crist, Cynthia (Dave) Gerstner, Sondra (Joe) Hedrick, and Mary (Danny) Hutchins; three grand-children, Valerie Weston, Blake Evans and Paula (Robert) Springfield; two great-grandchildren, Rylee Kaye Evans and Richard Gabriel Springfield; her dear friend, Paulette Davis; members of her beloved Sunday school class; seven step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services will be held from Fountain of Life Church in Saraland on Monday, October 4, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Sunday, October 3, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street.
