
Floyd Luallen Williams, age 81, native of Doddridge County, West Virginia and long-time resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away Thursday, January 3rd 2013 after a long and beautiful life.
He is survived by his loving wife Carmen C. Williams Correa of Caracas, Venezuela and his two children: daughter Melanie L. Segnini and Son-in-Law Carlos E. Segnini of Pompano Beach, Florida, and son Eric L. Williams and Daughter-in-Law Bailey Williams Catlin of Mobile, Alabama. Four grandchildren: Daniella & Diego, C.J. & Kaylen who lovingly call him Papo. Extended family in West Virginia, Florida and Venezuela include many nieces, nephews, friends and associates.
Papo was an honorable man, 32nd degree Mason, and Shriner from the Orient of Jacksonville. He was a proud alumni of the University of Michigan who worked his entire professional career as a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer having served at Newport News Shipbuilding, Northrop Grumman, Ingalls, Avondale, Bender Shipbuilding and others. He will be forever missed by all those that came to know him.
Funeral arrangements are being handled through Radney Funeral Home in Mobile, Alabama on Saturday, January 5th from 3:00 to 4:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to your charity of choice.
