Francine Westry Brunson, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, peacefully exchanged time for eternity on December 28, 2025, at a local hospital. She was born on October 4, 1951, to the late Florence Westry and Roosevelt Howard.
Francine loved God, cooking, and her family immensely. Her life reflected her devotion, generosity, and the joy she found in caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence Westry and Roosevelt Howard; and her siblings, James Westry, Clifford Cleveland, Rose Cleveland, Phillip Westry, Sr., Alfred Cleveland, and Jannetta George.
She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory, three daughters and one son: Tina Westry of Mobile, Alabama; Felicia (Zad) Douglas of Spanish Fort, Alabama; Jevon (Brandon) Moore of Mobile, Alabama; and Joe-L Brunson of Mobile, Alabama. She is also survived by one sister, Bernadine (Gregory) Greene of Mobile, Alabama.
Francine leaves a lasting legacy through her eight grandchildren: Kylii Crook, Alexander Abner, Makala Brunson, Donovan Brunson, Caleb King, Bryanna Moore, Tiona Williams, and Kyler Jenkins. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
