

Bro. Lash transitioned from this earthly realm to his eternal home with Christ on November 10, 2023, peacefully in his home. He confessed Christ at an early age then decided to reaffirm his commitment later in life. During this time, he’d become a faithful and dedicated member of the Revelation Missionary Baptist Church serving as a Summer Camp Counselor, Lifeguard, as well as in other capacities when needed. He had an infectious smile, contagious sense of humor, and overall joyful personality. He was a self-taught Chef who enjoyed cooking and baking for all occasions.
Bro. Lash was preceded in death by his wife, the late Willie Mae Lash and son Frank C. Lash, Jr. as well as his parents and seven siblings.
He will forever be remembered by two children, LaVon Odom (daughter) and Anthony Odom (son) both of Cleveland, OH; four granddaughters, LaShawn Odom of Cleveland, OH; Stacey Wallace-McMurray of Shreveport, LA; Tracy Jones of Huntsville, AL and one devoted, his Caregiver, Christy Wallace of Mobile, AL; five great-grandchildren, Deonte, Venetia, Vechaun, Maika, and Dre’Marion; one great-great-granddaughter, De’Arrie; godchildren, Hazel Mae (Ted) Daily of Dallas, TX, Marshandra Grace-Shelborne and Demetrius Grace of Mobile, AL and Arthur J. McMillion, III of Chicago, IL; a host of nieces, one devoted Diane McMillion of Mobile, AL; host of nephews, two devoted, Edward Royals of Detroit, MI and Lawrence Greene of Atlanta, GA; other relatives, in-laws of Sacramento, CA and friends, one devoted, James Brown of Mobile, AL.
Visitation for Bro. Lash will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a Homegoing Service on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Revelation Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
