Frankie Fernandez Boyd-- a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama passed away Monday, August 4, 2014. She was an avid gardner and a wonderful storyteller. She was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church and the Shining Light Sunday School Class. She will be remembered as a soul winner for Christ! She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Harry Boyd, Jr., son, Harry F. "Happy" Boyd, brothers, Kenneth Fernandez and Jimmy Fernandez, sister-in-laws, Sister A. Helena Boyd, Lillian C. Boyd, Ann Madeleine Boyd. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ella Boyd (Dan) Martin, three grandchildren, Sadie Maurine Martin, Madeleine Francesca (Keith) Mann, Lillian Alexandra (Dan) Hatcher, brother, Winfred Premo Fernandez, Sr., niece, Beth Fernandez (Tommy) Wright, nephew, Winfred Premo Fernandez, Jr., sister-in-law, Nell Fernandez and Bessie Fernandez, great-niece, Brittney Wright (John) Nelson, great-nephew, Garrett Wright, nephews, Joseph, Rodney and Keith Fernandez. Visitation will be held Friday, August 8, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2014 from the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street with Dr. Fred Wolfe and Ronnie McCarson officiating.
