S/Sgt Fred H McAllister, Jr. USAF. RET, A native of Russellville, AL and raised in Leeds, AL, and a resident of Mobile, AL., died on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachael; three brothers, Pelham, EJ and Malcolm McAllister; two sisters, Laura Katherine Postell and Thelma Pauline Melton. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Martha McAllister, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 1 PM in Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham, AL. In lieu of flowers the family request donation to Disabled American Veterans, DAV.ORG or Dauphin Way Baptist Church, DWBC.ORG.
